2026년 1월 11일(일), 제25기 유엔 전문가 교육의 마지막 일정인 SDGs 발표회 및 수료식이 서울 대원외국어고등학교 폴라홀에서 개최되었습니다. 차가운 겨울 날씨 속에서도 많은 학부모님과 학생들이 함께해 주시며, 4박 5일간의 밀도 있는 교육 여정을 뜻깊게 마무리하는 시간을 가졌습니다.
이번 발표회는 교육 기간 동안의 학습과 토의를 바탕으로, 대표단 학생들이 도출한 문제의식과 청소년 수준의 창의적인 해결 방안을 제안하는 자리였습니다. 교육, 경제, 환경, 성평등 등 유엔 지속가능발전목표(SDGs)와 직접적으로 연관된 다양한 주제를 아우르며, 차세대 글로벌 리더들의 다채로운 시각이 담긴 발표가 이어졌습니다.
On January 11, 2026, the SDGs Presentation Session and Graduation Ceremony, marking the conclusion of the 25th Training Program on the United Nations and the 2030 Agenda, was held at the FOLA Hall of Daewon Foreign Language High School in Seoul. Despite the cold winter weather, students and parents gathered to bring a meaningful close to an intensive five-day learning journey.
This final presentation session provided student delegates with an opportunity to share the issues they identified through the lens of global citizenship, along with youth-centered and creative solutions developed throughout the program. Covering a wide range of topics directly related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including education, economy, environment, and gender equality, the presentations reflected thoughtful analysis and diverse perspectives.
심사위원으로는 이지홍 대표(Connected Lab, 前 유네스코 아태국제이해교육원 연수실장)와 Kevin Mitchell 교수(중앙대학교, KAIST Intensive Camp 강사)께서 함께해 주셨으며, 각 팀의 발표에 대해 전문적이면서도 실질적인 피드백과 따뜻한 격려의 말씀을 전해주셨습니다.
The judging panel consisted of Ms. Jihong Lee, CEO of Connected Lab and former Director at UNESCO APCEIU, and Professor Kevin Mitchell of Chung-Ang University, who offered insightful feedback and encouraging remarks to each team.
■ Team 1 | Promoting Lifelong Learning through Inclusive and Equitable Access to Technology
발표 주제: 기술 접근성을 통한 평생학습 촉진
대표단: 김진서, 박건희, 윤예원, 정하은
Team 1은 저소득 지역 사회를 중심으로 디지털 격차와 인터넷 접근성 문제가 어떻게 교육 기회의 불평등과 사회적 양극화로 이어지는지를 분석했습니다. 특히 '인터넷 빈곤(Internet Poverty)'이 평생학습을 저해하는 구조적 문제임을 짚으며, 단순한 기기 보급을 넘어선 디지털 인프라 확충과 교육 플랫폼 구축을 제안하였습니다. 청소년의 입장에서 사회 이슈를 깊이 있게 통찰하는 태도가 인상적이었습니다.
Team 1 analyzed how the digital divide and unequal internet access lead to educational disparities, particularly in low-income communities. By introducing the concept of “internet poverty,” the team identified structural barriers that hinder lifelong learning. Moving beyond simple device distribution, they proposed expanding digital infrastructure and developing inclusive educational platforms. Their presentation demonstrated a keen insight into the intersection of technology and human rights from a youth perspective.
■ Team 2 | Climate Anxiety: How Environmental Crisis Affects Mental Health
발표 주제: 환경 위기가 정신건강에 미치는 영향
대표단: 강민채, 김가영, 이현서, 전이안
Team 2는 '기후 불안(Climate Anxiety)'이라는 개념을 중심으로, 환경 위기가 개인과 사회의 정신건강에 미치는 영향을 조명했습니다. SDG 3(건강과 웰빙)와 13(기후행동)을 연계하여, SNS를 통해 쏟아지는 기후 뉴스가 청소년들에게 주는 심리적 압박을 분석했습니다. 더 나아가, 청소년 주도의 워크숍과 소통 활동을 통해 기후 불안을 완화하고 집단적 회복력을 강화할 수 있는 방안을 제시했습니다.
특히, Team 2는 심사위원 분들의 질의응답에도 준비된 모습으로 답변하는 모습을 보여주었으며, 최종 심사 결과 최고점을 기록하며 영예의 대상을 차지했습니다. 수상팀 전원에게는 부상으로 2026 여름방학 인턴십(2주) 기회가 주어졌습니다.
Team 2 focused on "Climate Anxiety," exploring the impact of the environmental crisis on mental health. Connecting SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 13 (Climate Action), the team analyzed the psychological pressure placed on adolescents through constant exposure to climate-related news on social media. They further proposed youth-led workshops and dialogue-based initiatives as practical ways to alleviate climate anxiety and strengthen collective resilience.
During the Q&A session, Team 2 impressed the judges with their well-prepared and composed responses. As a result, they received the highest overall score and were awarded the Grand Prize. All members of the team were granted a two-week internship opportunity during the summer of 2026.
■ Team 3 | From Digital Waste to Civic Wealth: Transforming Waste Heat into Sustainable Urban Resources
발표 주제: 데이터 센터 폐열을 활용한 지속가능한 도시 자원
대표단: 강유준, 안리환, 유홍주, 허재우
Team 3는 데이터 센터에서 발생하는 막대한 양의 폐열을 지속가능한 도시 자원으로 전환할 수 있는 가능성에 주목했습니다. 에너지 재사용 기술과 열에너지 저장 기술(Thermal Energy Storage, TES)을 접목하여 디지털 인프라가 환경 부담이 아닌 도시의 새로운 공공 자산으로 재사용될 수 있는 방안을 제안했습니다. 기술적 이해도와 환경 정책을 유기적으로 연결한 점이 돋보이는 발표였습니다.
Team 3 focused on the potential of converting waste heat from data centers into a sustainable urban resource. By integrating energy reuse technologies with Thermal Energy Storage (TES) systems, the team proposed ways to repurpose digital infrastructure as a form of civic wealth rather than an environmental burden. Their presentation stood out for its strong technical understanding and its effective linkage between environmental policy and technological innovation.
■ Team 4 | Protecting Decent Work and Economic Equity in the Age of Artificial Intelligence
발표 주제: 인공지능 시대에서 일자리와 경제적 형평성을 보존하는 방법
대표단: 고은성, 김민성, 김재현, 이해나
Team 4는 인공지능과 자동화 기술의 확산이 가져올 일자리 대체 현상과 경제적 불안정성을 SDG 8(양질의 일자리와 경제 성장) 관점에서 분석했습니다. 기술 발전의 흐름 속에서도 노동의 가치를 보호하고 경제적 형평성을 유지하기 위해, 정책적 대응과 청년 세대의 애드보커시 활동이 필수적임을 강조하며 미래 세대의 역할을 재확인했습니다.
Team 4 analyzed the potential for job displacement and economic instability caused by AI and automation, through the lens of SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth). To protect the value of labor and maintain economic equity amidst technological advancement, the team highlighted the importance of policy responses and youth-led advocacy to ensure economic equity. Their presentation reaffirmed the critical role of future generations in shaping a fair and inclusive labor market.
■ Team 5 | How Women’s Systemic Exclusion from Political Power Reinforces Social and Economic Inequality
발표 주제: 여성의 정치적 배제가 일으키는 사회·경제적 불평등
대표단: 김사윤, 문정인, 유재후, 이소율
Team 5는 여성의 정치적 의사결정 참여를 가로막는 구조가 어떻게 사회·경제적 불평등을 심화시키는지를 심도 있게 다뤘습니다. 차별, 젠더 기반 폭력(GBV), 그리고 권력의 불균형이 상호작용하며 불평등을 재생산하는 메커니즘을 지적하고, 성평등한 정치 참여가 여성만의 문제가 아닌 사회 전반의 긍정적 변화를 이끄는 열쇠임을 강력하게 주장했습니다.
Team 5 delivered an in-depth analysis of how structural barriers to women’s participation in political decision-making reinforce social and economic inequality. They pointed out the mechanism where discrimination, Gender-Based Violence (GBV), and power imbalances interact to reproduce inequality. They powerfully argued that gender-equal political participation is not solely a women’s issue, but a key driver of positive and sustainable change across society.
모든 발표를 마친 후에는 수료식 및 시상식이 진행되었습니다. 제25기 유엔 전문가 교육에 성실히 참여한 모든 대표단 학생들에게 수료증이 수여되었으며, 우수한 문제의식과 창의적인 해결 방안을 제시한 팀에게는 시상과 함께 격려의 메시지가 전달되었습니다.
이번 발표회는 학생들이 국제사회의 다양한 과제를 단순히 이해하는 데 그치지 않고, 스스로 문제를 정의하고 대안을 설계하는 세계시민으로 성장했음을 확인하는 자리였습니다.
미래희망기구는 앞으로도 이들이 배움과 참여를 통해 더 나은 세상을 만들어 나갈 수 있도록 지속적으로 응원하겠습니다.
Following the presentations, a graduation ceremony and awards session was held. All student delegates received certificates of completion, recognizing their dedication and active participation throughout the program. Outstanding teams were also acknowledged for their insightful analysis and creative solutions.
This final event demonstrated that students had moved beyond simply learning about global issues to becoming active global citizens capable of defining problems and designing solutions.
