미래희망기구의 소식 입니다.
미래희망기구는 지난 2026년 1월 7일부터 11일까지 제25기 유엔 전문가 교육을 개최하여 차세대 글로벌 리더를 꿈꾸는 학생들과 함께 국제사회의 주요 과제와 지속가능한 미래에 대해 깊이 있게 탐구하는 시간을 가졌습니다.
이번 교육은 유엔 및 국제기구, 정부, 학계, 시민사회 각 분야 전문가들의 생생한 현장 경험을 바탕으로, 참가 학생들이 지속가능발전목표(SDGs)를 중심으로 한 글로벌 이슈를 보다 입체적이고 현실적으로 이해할 수 있는 기회를 마련하고자 하였습니다.
From January 7 to 10, 2026, HFA successfully hosted the 25th Training Program on the United Nations and the 2030 Agenda, bringing together students aspiring to become future global leaders to explore pressing global challenges and pathways toward a more sustainable future.
Designed around real-world experiences shared by experts from the United Nations, international organizations, government, academia, and civil society, the program aimed to provide participants with a multi-dimensional and practical understanding of global issues surrounding the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The first day of the program focused on understanding the broader landscape of the international community and reexamining the role of youth as key drivers of change.

(Role of Youth for Sustainable Development in Our World)
Ambassador Oh Joon opened his lecture by posing a fundamental question amid today’s complex global crises: “How has progress in the world been achieved?” Drawing on his extensive experience in UN diplomacy, he emphasized that young people are not merely a “future generation” waiting their turn, but active agents shaping change today and driving progress for tomorrow. His message left a lasting impression on the students.
02. 개발도상국의 기후 재원
(Financing Climate Action in Developing Countries)
연사: 김연지 팀장(녹색기후기금(GCF), 前 UNFCCC 기후재원 담당관)
김연지 팀장님은 개발도상국의 실질적인 기후 대응을 가능하게 하는 기후재원(Climate Finance)의 구조와 역할을 알기 쉽게 설명해 주셨습니다. 기후위기 대응은 선언에 그치는 문제가 아니라, 재정·정책·국제협력이 유기적으로 연결될 때 비로소 실행될 수 있다는 점을 실제 사례를 통해 전달하며, 학생들이 국제 기후재원과 기후사업에 대해 함께 생각해볼 수 있는 시간을 가질 수 있도록 여러 액티비티를 마련해주셨습니다.
Ms. Kim Yeon-ji provided a clear and accessible overview of the structure and role of Climate Finance, a key mechanism enabling effective climate action in developing countries. She emphasized that responding to the climate crisis goes far beyond declarations, and can only be realized when finance, policy, and international cooperation are closely interconnected. Through a series of interactive activities, she encouraged students to actively reflect on the workings and significance of international climate finance and climate-related projects.
03. 유엔의 구조와 SDGs의 의미
(United Nations and the SDGs)
연사: 이영진 담당관 (유엔협회세계연맹(WFUNA))
이영진 담당관님은 유엔의 탄생 배경과 조직 구조를 짚으며, SDGs가 국제사회에서 갖는 의미와 역할을 차분하게 설명해 주셨습니다. 이번 세션을 통해 학생들은 SDGs가 단순히 국제적인 목표들을 나열한 것에 그치는 것이 아니라, 전 세계가 공동의 문제를 해결하기 위해 공유하는 공통의 언어이자 행동을 이끄는 프레임이라는 것을 알게 되었습니다.
Mr. Lee guided the students through the historical background and organizational structure of the United Nations, while clearly explaining the significance and role of the SDGs within the international community. Through this session, students came to understand that the SDGs are not merely a list of international goals, but rather a shared global language and framework for action used to address common challenges worldwide.
교육 첫날은 이처럼 각 분야 전문가들의 통찰력 있는 강연과 학생들의 진지한 참여 속에 의미 있게 마무리되었습니다. 열정적으로 참여해 준 청소년 대표단 여러분과 세계 각지에서 귀한 시간을 내어 함께해 주신 연사분들께 진심으로 감사의 말씀을 전합니다.
The first day concluded with insightful discussions and enthusiastic engagement from students and speakers alike. We extend our sincere gratitude to all student delegates for their active participation, and to the distinguished speakers who generously shared their expertise and experiences with us.
