안녕하십니까? (사)미래희망기구입니다.
2021년 8월 3일부터 8월 7일까지 진행되었던 제17기 유엔 전문가 교육이 성공적으로 종료되었습니다.
그간 뉴욕의 유엔 본부를 직접 방문하여 교육을 진행했었지만, 코로나 19로 인해 본 17기 유엔 전문가 교육은 전면 온라인으로 진행이 되었습니다.
비록 처음 시도하는 온라인 유엔 전문가 교육이었음에도 불구하고, 학생들의 적극적인 참여와 강사진의 노력 덕분에 성공적으로 일정을 마칠 수 있었습니다. 모든 참가 학생들과 옆에서 격려해 주신 학부모님을 비롯한 모든 강연자 여러분들께 감사의 말씀을 전합니다.
We would like to introduce the 17th UN Training Program proceeded from 3 August 2021 to 7 August 2021.
The last Training Program was proceeded in the UN headquarter, New York, however, the 17th UN Training Program was totally conducted online due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic crisis. Though it was the first time to have this program online, we were able to finish it thanks to the active participation of students and efforts from lecturers.
제17기 유엔 전문가 교육은 정진환 미래희망기구 이사장님과 Maher Nasser 유엔 공보국(UN DGC) 국장님의 축사로 시작했습니다. 이후 유엔 본부 가상 투어, 조태열 전 주유엔대한민국대표부 대사님 강연, 유엔세계식량계획(World Food Programme) 강연, 국제 모의 유엔대회 강연, 유엔개발계획(UN Development Programmes) 강연 순으로 이어졌습니다.
첫날부터 많은 강연을 들었음에도 불구하고, 학생들은 늦은 시간까지 열심히 강연자들의 말에 귀를 기울였습니다.
The 17th UN Training Program started with the opening ceremony of Jin-Hoan Choung, President of Hope the Future Association, and Maher Nasser, Director at Outreach Division of UN Department of Global Communications.
After the Opening ceremony, UN Virtual Tour and the lectures from Tae-Yul Cho (Former Permanent Representative of the R.O.K to the UN), World Programme, Monique Nikolov (Secretary-General of Yale Model UN), and UN Development Programmes was continued.

제17기 유엔 전문가 교육의 둘째 날에는 어떤 강연을 들었을까요?
둘째 날에는 UN 경제사회국 강연, 한스자이델재단 강연, 두 번째 유엔세계식량계획 강연, 글로벌녹색성장기구 강연, Denis Godwin Antoine 대사님의 강연이 진행되었습니다. 학생들은 교육에 적응한 듯 끊이없는 질문을 하며 많은 것을 배워가고자 하는 열정을 보여주었습니다.
On the second day, lectures from UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), Hanns Seidel Foundation, World Food Programmes, Global Green Growth Institute, and Denis Godwin Antoine (Former Permanent Representative of Grenada to the UN) were conducted.
Though it was the second day of the program, the students tried to learn a lot by asking a lot of questions as if they had adapted to the program.

세 번째 날도 바쁘게 지나갔습니다.
세 번째 날에는 EOSG 기후대책팀 강연, UN Habitat 강연, 류은주 강사님 강연, 박철주 주 남아프리카공화국 대한민국 대사님 강연, Ivy Leage 선배님과의 만남, 그리고 유엔 청년 대사 의장 강연이 진행되었습니다.
세 번째 날은 강연이 가장 많은 날이었음에도 불구하고 학생들은 피곤한 내색 없이 열심히 수업을 들었습니다.
On the third day, lectures from the UN Climate Action Team of Executive Office of the Secretary-General, UN-Habitat, Eun-Ju Ryu (CBDO at Access Bio Inc.), Chull-Joo Park (Ambassador of the R.O.K to South Africa), Ivy League mentors, and Secretary General's Envoy on Youth were conducted.
Though the third day was the busiest day among the whole schedule, the students attended the class diligently with no exhaustion.

네 번째 날에는 유니세프 강연, GGGI 강연, Kadir Hun AYHAN 교수님 강연, 유엔 군축실 강연, 그리고 UN Publication 강연이 있었던 날입니다. 마지막 강연까지 학생들은 집중력을 잃지 않고 끝까지 집중하여 들었습니다.
The 4th day of the 17th UN Training Program was the last day of the official lecture. On the 4th day, lectures from Unicef, 2nd GGGI, Ph.D. Kadir hun AYHAN, UN Office for Disarmament Affairs, and UN Publication were conducted. Students didn't lose their concentration and finished the lectures.

제17기 유엔 전문가 교육의 마지막 날은 조별 발표와 폐회식으로 마무리하였습니다.
폐회식에는 조창범 유엔한국협회 부회장님께서 자리를 빛내주셨습니다.
The last day of the 17th UN Training Program was terminated with the group presentation and Closing Ceremony. Chang Beom Cho, the Vice-President of World Federation of United Nations Association Seoul.

7팀의 성공적인 발표를 마치고, 조창범 대사님의 폐회사를 마지막으로 4박 5일간 진행되었던 제17기 유엔 전문가교육이 마무리 되었습니다.
참가해주신 학생 여러분들께 감사드리며, 좋은 강연을 해주신 강연자분들께도 감사드립니다.
After the successful group presentation of 7 teams, the 5 days of the 17th UN Training Program wrapped up with the closing speech of Former Ambassador Changbeom Cho. We would like to thank the students who participated in this program and the lecturers who provided the quality of lectures.
